About Us

Universal has been a fixture of Ottawa's tattooing and piercing industry for almost 20 years in the same Rideau Street location, 156 Rideau Street.

We use on site medical industry sterilization methods (autoclave/steam), new sterile disposable medical grade needles and sterile medical implantation grade surgical steel piercing  jewellery.  All our inks are hypoallergenic and of the highest quality.  We are health board inspected and regulated.

We are able to create the ultimate tattoo of which you have always dreamed.  We encourage all of our clients to bring in their own material, even if it is not a complete image, anyone of our talented artist are more than capable of making it into the original design that you have always wanted.

We are open 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday 10:00am to 10:00pm and Sunday noon to 6:00pm. We are only closed on Christmas and New Years day.
